Peanut allergy – symptoms

Peanut allergy is a type of food allergy. The substances from peanuts causes an overreaction of the immune system which may lead to severe physical symptoms for many people. Anaphylaxis is a result to a severe peanut allergies, this situation requiring immediate attention and treatment with epinephrine.
Other allergies: half of people hwo are allergic to peanuts are also allergic to tree nuts, such as almonds, walnuts, pecans, cashews, and often sunflower and sesame seeds.
