Sperm allergy – how sperm allergy manifest?


The immune system act in interaction with with unknown substances by producing specific antibodies or by “training” cells able to recognize and act against the antigen.

Sperm, in addition to spermatozoon, contains fluids necessary for the protection and feeding spermatozoon and those fluids that can cause allergic reactions.

Sperm allergy symptoms are: itching, burning sensations, redness, swelling of the vaginal area and / or vulvar. Like any other allergy, in severe cases may appear rashes (urticaria).

In case of infertility situations with uncertain or unknown reasons may also consider sperm allergy.
In these cases it uses artificial insemination using only spermatozoon – the spermatozoon are “chosen” by a process that eliminates other fluids.
