Allergy to penicillin


Penicillin and related antibiotics (the same class) are effective in treating bacterial infections.But if you have an allergy to penicillin, administration of these drugs can be harmful, even dangerous for you.

In some people, penicillin and related antibiotics may cause an allergic reaction.Not all adverse reactions to penicillin are a sign of an allergic reaction.

True allergic reactions involve the immune system and can cause signs and symptoms that vary in a wide range, from an annoying rash to a life-threatening reaction (anaphylaxis) with low blood pressure and breathing problems.

Signs and symptoms of allergy to penicillin may include:
1 .Laryngitis;
2. Rash;
3. Itchy skin;
4. Wheezing;
5. Swollen lips, tongue and face

Tell it to your doctor if you notice any of the signs and symptoms of allergy to penicillin. It can determine if you have an allergic reaction and can prescribe another antibiotic.

Eye Allergies – Allergic Conjunctivitis

The most common allergens as possible inducers of allergic reactions, are house dust, feathers, molds (frequently encountered in our usual environment), pollen, animal hair and some parasites from their animal, insect venom, allergies Various medications and even some fruits (strawberries).

Allergic conjunctivitis can occur both due to pollution, dust, pollen (spring) but also because the use of certain cosmetics (makeup, face cream, eyeliner pencils, solutions shaving or after shaving).

Manifestations or symptoms characteristic ocular allergies are local pruritus (itching), eye redness.

First, if the known allergens, avoidance and prevention of exposure to them is an essential step in allergic conjunctivitis treatment. The treatment aims primarily to improve symptoms.

It is imperative that hands be washed very often, to use clean towels for each family member, pillow be washed at 90 degrees and ironed.

The eye affected by conjunctivitis should be not cover because stalled secretion and germs can multiply under the gauze.

Wheat gluten intolerance severely affects digestion


Gluten intolerance is a disease that is transmitted genetically and it can seriously affects the digestive system. It is not known at present which is the exact number of people who have this disorder, but there are suspicions that the number of patients would be even ten times higher than current estimates. Gluten intolerance is not easy to diagnose and require the passage of many years to detect whether a person is without fault or not this disease.

Gluten is a protein that can actually meet in most cereals (wheat, rye, barley, oats) and therefore often by eating bread or breakfast cereals proves dangerous for people who have gluten intolerance, but were not yet detected the disease.

There are cases where you can develop allergies to certain cereal products, but will not be involved here the intolerance , but an allergic intolerance to deal differently and have other causes.Therefore it is not easy to diagnose gluten intolerance.

For children who have not been diagnosed, risks are much higher than in the case of adults who had better luck and managed to grow satisfactorily.
