how to remove mites


1. at home: we recommend

* during the heating season, keep the relative humidity at not more than 50%. The room temperature in the bedroom should not be higher than 18° C, and in the living room not higher than 19-20° C.
* air out all rooms regularly, most usefully during cold and dry weather.
* keep no green plants in the bedroom, and no pets in the home.

2. Bedding: we recommend

* mite-proof covers for mattresses, pillows, and comforters.
* pillows and comforters should be washed regularly at 60° C and thoroughly dried.

3. Cleaning: we recommend

* Wall coverings, heavy curtains, and unwashable stuffed animals should be removed.
* The home should be renovated with a floor covering that can be wet-mopped once a week (parquet, linoleum, tiles, etc.).

4. Vacations: we recommend

* vacation spots above 1200 meters above sea level have few housedust-mites. Vacations in such areas are recommended.
